Gospel reading for Thursday of week 12 of ordinary time

We must do as Jesus Christ commands us. As He says in Matthew 18:17, we must listen to the Church but most today don’t in lieu of “I’ve got my Bible and that’s all I need”

Protestantism is like building your house on sand. It cannot survive. It is built upon a lie. No Christian before Protestantism ever used just scripture. Christianity used both scripture and sacred traditions to teach the catachumens the Christian faith. Catachumens were also taught authority was through the Church.

Let us all obey Christ by obeying the teachings of the Catholic Church as obeying the teachings of the Catholic Church is obeying Jesus Christ (Luke 10:16) . Have a Blessed day.
