Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

This passage reminds me of the day that I converted to the Catholic Church. I didn’t become Catholic until almost a year later but in my heart, I was Catholic. I had lots of the sins of the flesh, watching movies I shouldn’t have and offending my wife because of my actions. The day I realized the Catholic Church was really and truthfully the Church our Lord Jesus Christ started, I fell on my knees crying. I wanted to serve Him. My desires went away except the desire to love Jesus Christ with my whole heart and try to lead others to Him.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on me and you.
